A few weeks ago I’ve moved from Belgium to London for at least a year. I made this little tumblr to give some updates to my family and friends who wonder what I’m up to. Feel free to follow me there :)
Meet my border collie puppy, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. Others call him just Cooper. So much love.
Saying goodbye to my awesome studio apartment in Ghent with the amazing view. I had some good times here; the cute balcony, the unfixable bed, the many coffee places nearby, the best friends coming over, the no-policy-policy, the excellent location that got me to class in 3 minutes and to the M.A.C. store in 2. On to different things. Found an apartment in Kilburn, London. I’ll be studying at UCL for a year. It’s really exciting, but no doubt in my mind that I will miss the great city of Ghent.

This week lucky me got to see Arsenal a second time. I had the sweetest company, there was the lovely playlist of Belgium’s finest and plenty of drinks, it made for a memorable Saturday night.
I can’t wait for the summer, seeing them again at all the festivals <3
OK. Enough with the procrastination. I am starting my paper TODAY. NOW. Right now.
Ironically this means I’ll be more on tumblr, because honestly, a blog post makes for such a lovely paper break.

What I love most about Spring and Summer is how the sunshine lifts you as you wake up in the morning. My sleeping castle is next to the window with just enough cracks in the curtains. I also love how, at night, you can go outside and walk around the town among people as if it was the middle of the day. Ghent had a little taste of that summery weather. We had calamares by the graslei. Surely it were the patio heaters and blankies that were keeping us warm, but we felt like on vacation in the Mediterranean.

So glad my Bruxellois buddies Karel and Tibo are back from a semester China and Paris. We spent the night with good food, Arsenal - Barcelona, wine and a lot to catch up on. Things got ugly, it was beautiful.
My last class this semester, a lecture by the Belgian minister of foreign affairs. And last class ever with my classmates formation of the past 4 years. I’m the one behind the empty chair going “I wonder what kind of crazy gifts this guy gets when he visits all these countries…”.
My sheeplets. Some mother sheep got sick at the farm this year, so we had to take care of four lambs ourselves. They’re like pets now, they recognize you and they’ll lay down at your feet. They’re the sweetest thing that happened to me this year. You might want to click the link.
